Welcome to Rapid Courier & Logistics. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to protect both you, the customer, and us, the service provider.

🔹 CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accurate Information
Customers must submit accurate and complete shipping information, including name, tracking number, item description, and supplier invoice (where applicable)
False, missing, or incomplete declarations may result in delays, customs penalties, or refusal of shipment.
2. Invoice Submission within 48 hours of shipping.
USA Shipments: Invoices are only required for items valued over $100 USD, as they are needed for customs clearance.
China Shipments: Invoices are mandatory for all items, regardless of value. This is due to the lack of a warehouse system, and invoices help verify contents and ensure safe transport.
Invoices with altered values, vague item names (e.g., “gift,” “accessory”), or missing prices may be rejected.
3. Restricted or Prohibited Items
The following are strictly not allowed via air shipping: liquids, powders, batteries (external or internal), flammable goods, or any item not pre-approved.
Packages found to violate air shipping rules will be automatically diverted to sea shipment (if eligible), returned to sender, or confiscated by customs.
4. Customs Charges & Advancement Fees
Jamaica Customs applies duties to items over $100 USD.
Rapid Courier charges the following advancement fees:
JMD $1,500 for 1 package needing clearance
15% of total customs paid for 2 or more packages

5. Storage Policy & Fees
Free Storage Period:
Customers are granted 20 days of free storage from the date of package arrival at our local warehouse.
Storage Fees After Grace Period:
After the free period ends, a daily storage fee of JMD $500 per package will be applied.
Abandoned Packages:
Packages left unclaimed for more than 30 calendar days will be considered abandoned. Rapid Courier & Logistics reserves the right to dispose of or resell such items to recover storage and handling costs.
Responsibility:
It is the customer’s responsibility to track, collect, and communicate about their shipments in a timely manner. Storage charges are non-negotiable unless pre-approved by management in writing.

🔹 RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Rapid Courier & Logistics reserves the right to:
Refuse service to any customer who violates shipping policies, submits false information, delays invoice submission, or engages in abusive behavior.
Decline to process packages containing restricted items, or packages from high-risk senders.
Refuse refunds if services are delayed due to customer error or customs/legal seizure.
